EM4 | Berlin Studios for Electroacoustic Music (2) HfM Hanns Eisler
In the EM4 series, the Academy showcases the work of four Berlin studios. After the initial concert in July, the second concert is presented by the Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. “De Natura Sonorum” (1975) by the French composer Bernard Parmegiani (1927 – 2013) will be performed. The eight-movement electroacoustic piece is among the masterpieces of its genre and has influenced countless musicians. The young composer Malte Giesen will interpret the work together with the Berliner Lautsprecherorchester.
