Die Grünstein-Variante
Eine Geschichte in Erinnerung an Geschichten, die Ludwig Turek erzählt hat
Wolfgang Kohlhaase developed the text for a radio play based on the stories of working-class writer and adventurer Ludwig Turek, who was on the run throughout half of Europe. In 1939, a German captain, a Greek cook and a Polish-Jewish butcher meet in a Parisian prison, caught in a web of bureaucracy that camouflages the political circumstances. Excerpts from the documentary Turek erzählt by Richard Cohn-Vossen complete the evening. The guests are Wolfgang Kohlhaase and co-director of the audio play Barbara Plensat.
