The winner of the Berlin Art Prize 2022 for architecture is Berlin-based landscape architecture firm atelier le balto.

Landscape architect and juror Guido Hager says: “Their art is about vegetation. Often implemented as rampant ‘wild growth’ with great horticultural knowledge and thus completely committed to sustainability, they know how to create exemplary spatial situations for the benefit of a large public.”
