Panel Discussion
Art in public spaces and art on buildings are important components of the state‘s mandate for the professional visual arts. The question of the basis on which the state mandate for art is realised and how democracy and the principle of artist codetermination are reflected in this mandate is at the centre of the discussion with representatives of the Berlin Senate and its parliamentary groups as well as the community of artists.
