What drives us: Energy and energeia between politics and poetics
The term energy is a high-frequency word in our time and opens up a broad array of associations and discourses in science, politics and culture. It gives rise to literary poetics and manifests itself as an evidential experience in the performative power of the arts. For three consecutive days, the Akademie der Künste will address the pressing questions raised by the term.
The programme is framed by artistic and discursive contributions from all sections of the Akademie der Künste, film screenings, an exhibition, video installations, presentations from the archive and a presentation by KUNSTWELTEN. The programme concludes with a panel discussion in which older literary texts on energy sources will be re-examined from today’s perspective.
