Born in today’s Zimbabwe, dancer and choreographer nora chipaumire works internationally on stage and – often as the only artist of colour – in many university contexts. Based on her artistic practice of Nhaka, a cartography of the animistic body and radical black African presence, she explored questions of cultural self-reflection and artistic transformation with the dance studies students.
